CONNECT

"Very happy people have rich and satisfying social relationships and spend little time alone relative to average people ...good social relationships are ...universally important to human mood" (Diener & Seligman, 2002).

Social interactions make up the bulk of our time on earth and we notice. Being close to and feeling valued by others is an essential need that enables us to function properly in our everyday lives. By connecting with each other we gain crucial experiences that can reduce our likelihood of mental illness. Actively making an effort to connect with others enables us to share our experiences and gain brand new ones too.

Without connection with other human beings life would be lonely and sad. Connecting with anyone, including strangers will support yourself and makes every day more interesting which leads to a healthy and happier life.
